- Location: Abuja, Nigeria
- Sector: Renewable Energy, Productive Use Energy (PUE), Rural Electrification
- Stage: Growth / Impact Expansion
Overview
Founded in 2019, Ark Power delivers distributed clean energy systems that unlock economic potential in underserved communities across Nigeria. With a focus on productive use energy (PUE), Ark Power designs and implements solutions that fuel microentrepreneurship, agriculture, and small businesses supporting long-term resilience and inclusive growth.
Ark Power’s flagship project, funded by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), deployed a solar-powered integrated farming system that powered irrigation, poultry, and fish farming in a rural Nigerian community. This initiative demonstrated the company’s ability to link energy access with real economic outcomes.
Looking ahead, Ark Power is expanding into data-driven energy intelligence, exploring how energy access can be accelerated through better insights, smarter project planning, and scalable partnerships. The company continues to build a robust pipeline of high-impact projects that blend clean energy with community development.

Impact Highlights:
- Delivered a UNDP-funded solar-powered farming system, increasing agricultural productivity in rural Nigeria.
- Developed clean energy solutions tailored for microbusinesses and cooperatives, particularly in peri-urban and off-grid communities.
- Focused on women-led enterprises, enabling equitable access to energy and opportunity
- Building capabilities in data-informed project development to unlock scale, speed, and bankability for clean energy solutions.
